Synergy Programs are Designed to Meet ICF Requirements

Synergy offers its own professional coach certifications. In addition, our programs are designed to fulfill the education requirements for ICF credentials:

• 65 hours of instruction through either the LEAN Lab or Leadership Lab, meeting the education requirement for the ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential.

• 135 combined hours (Leadership + LEAN Labs), meeting the education requirement for the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential.

• 10 hours of mentor coaching required by ICF for both ACC and PCC pathways.

• Performance evaluation of a coaching session aligned with ICF standards.

• Structured bartering and real client coaching practice to support required experience hours.

Core Components of ICF Credentialing

To earn an ICF credential (ACC, PCC, or MCC), candidates must complete:

• Verified coach-specific education hours.

• Mentor coaching with an ICF-credentialed coach.

• Demonstration of ICF Core Competencies in recorded or live coaching sessions.

• A passing score on the ICF credentialing exam.

• Documented coaching experience hours.

ICF accreditation for Synergy Level 1 and Level 2 coach education is currently in process.

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the leading global organization that sets standards for professional coaching education, ethics, and competency in more than 140 countries.

ICF credentials are widely regarded as the gold standard in the coaching industry.

Pursuing an ICF credential is optional. Synergy certifications stand on their own as complete, professional coach training programs. For students who choose to pursue an additional ICF credential, our training is structured to meet ICF educational requirements.
