FAQ

Do Synergy Programs Meet ICF Requirements?

Yes. Synergy instructional hours are structured to meet ICF coach-specific education requirements for both the ACC and PCC credentials.

  • Synergy is in the process of securing formal Level 1 and Level 2 accreditation. Approval is anticipated with the completion of our first graduating class, enabling cohorts beginning in April to apply through the Level 1 (ACC) or Level 2 (PCC) pathway.

  • If accreditation review extends beyond that date, students may apply through the Coach-Specific Education (CSE) pathway using the same completed training and mentoring hours.

  • Under the Level 1 or Level 2 pathway, Synergy conducts and approves the required final performance evaluation internally.

  • Under the CSE pathway, candidates submit their education documentation and final recorded coaching session directly to ICF. ICF reviews CSE applications on a case-by-case basis to determine eligibility and approval. Synergy mentors work with each student to select and prepare a recording for ICF performance review.

  • Education hours and mentor coaching remain the same. The difference lies in the ICF review and approval process.

How long are courses?

The Leadership Lab is 15 modules. The LEAN launch lab is 17 modules. We meet once weekly for 2 hours. Both courses can be taken at the same time. The optional capstone retreat is one weekend for the retreat certificate after the conclusion of the labs.

Who are the coach training labs for?
  • The Aspiring Coach: You can take your first training course with us, and learn all of the tools for when you are ready to launch.

  • The Practitioner: ACC/PCC coaches who have the credentials and are ready to expand their network and grow their practice.

  • The Emerging Leader: HR Managers and Emerging Leaders who want to increase their leadership skills and expand their influence with their constituents.

What is the application process?

To ensure the highest level of impact for our Founding 2026 Cohort, we limit residency seats to 8–10 dedicated professionals. Our commitment is to provide more than just curriculum; we are dedicated to actively catalyzing you in expanding your professional network and market reach.

  1. Submit Application: Tell us about your current niche, your specific interests, and the communities you are currently serving (or aim to serve).

  2. Schedule a Discovery Call: After application review, we meet with applicants to discuss your goals and the program.

  3. Discovery & Alignment: We use your application and discovery call to tailor our network-building efforts, ensuring we have a thorough understanding of how to help you scale your impact.

  4. Acceptance: If the lab aligns with your growth goals, you will receive a formal invitation and a link to secure your seat.

Yes, This is ideal, as you will be learning both relational mastery for Inner Leadership, and Business Development for Entrepreneurial Coaching, or launching your own business.

Can I take both the Leadership Lab and the LEAN launch Lab at once?

For our inaugural 2026 cohorts, we are offering a substantial discount ($1,000 per lab vs. the regular $1,350 and $800 for mentoring vs. the regular $1000). This honors our early community members who are helping us build this laboratory from the ground up.
